Our Philosophies
One Church, One Family, One Child is an initiative of the Louisiana First Foundation that mobilizes faith-based communities across Louisiana to create a network of support for vulnerable children, youth, families, and those who care for them, with the goal of improving the success of and reducing the need for foster care and other child welfare services.

Everyone Can Do Something
Fostering is an incredible way to support children and families in need, but you don’t have to foster to make an impact. Our vulnerable children, youth, and families can benefit from any level of support an individual or community is able to give.
Working Where There is the Greatest Need & Potential for the Greatest Impact
Supporting foster families and youth in need means prioritizing prevention, supporting reunification when possible, and directing care to those facing the greatest barriers.
